Well for the 3rd month running we congratulating an other MK2 Cav owner for winning the monthly feature. This time its Munt and his smooth MK2 Cav.

1984 Vauxhall Cavalier Sri C20XE Twin Weber 45’s with smoothed bay
Lowered 50mm
Stainless Powerflow exhaust
De-locked
de-badged
Bump strips removed
Ariel removed
Rear washer and wiper removed
Colour coded door handles
BBS RM’s 7.5 on the front 8.5 on the rear with colour coded centres
Standard Recaro interior
288 ebc grooved and drilled disks with V6 calipers

How long owned?
Bought it off Ebay while waiting in the departure lounge of Birmingham Airport in Oct 2007

Fave bit of the car?
Either the sound of the carbs or the alloys

What's she like to drive?
I love the sound of the carbs and the looks from other drivers but the suspension is solid – ask anyone who has driven or been in it!

Future plans?
Fit a custom rad so I can get rid of the header tank then just enjoy it for the summer

People's reactions?
Most people seem to like it, sadly the Belgians didn’t like it as much as Pimble’s 2 Door!

Any negative's?
Only a couple of Vauxhall purists that think I shouldn’t have messed about with it and left it 100% standard and those people who think you can have too much anthracite!

Fave other car/cars?
VW Corrado, Mk2 Golf G60, V6 Calibra and any car Pimble uses to pick it up when I break something!

What drew you to ModzXtreme?
Curiosity really saw a sticker on a Punto down Pimbles in-laws so thought I would take a look and thanks to the friendly nature of the club I stayed
What got you into modifying cars?
Always remember my brother reading hot-rod mags (Street Machine, Custom Car etc) when I was growing up

Finally do you have anything you’d like to say to ModzXtreme.com members or anyone else reading this interview?
Although most of the members are predominantly South Wales based don’t let this put you off, I am not from South Wales and they have all made me feel welcome
